Precisely what I’ve come to expect from Mannkitchen: reliable, high-performing, solid, simple. Love that the curved handle gives extra torque on the crush. REALLY love the ease of cleaning. Was worried it might be a little too heavy for some people in the kitchen (my wife is petite w/ very small hands), but that turned out to be a non-issue. And as if all this review love weren’t enough, one of only 2 pairs broke unexpectedly due to a faulty rivet, and the staff went out of their way to get it replaced for free, even shipping it to my current location halfway around the world. The garlic press of our newlywed dreams is here! Love that there's no chance of microplastics, it's easy to clean, and feels very durable so we can plan to use this for the rest of our lives. It's by far our most-used kitchen gadget, and after mincing garlic by hand for every meal for a year, I can say it's 1) worth the wait and 2) worth the price.

Note: when clamped/closed completely, the two handles will have a gap and will not meet. This must be by design because it makes good physics-sense (maximizes grip/helps minimize force needed to press the garlic).
